SUNY ESF- SUNY ESF has paired up with SUNY SPARE (State University of New York Solar Power as Renewable Energy) to become part of the largest efforts to serve New York State’s renewable energy education needs.
HVCC — At the forefront of technology education among community colleges, Hudson Valley Community College trains workers in alternative energy technologies, including PV, through its state-of-the-art TEC-SMART program and facilities. The curricula include a certificate program for photovoltaic installation.
North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners- The NABCEP supports and works with renewable energy and energy efficiency industries, professionals, and stakeholders to execute and expand quality credentialing and certification for practitioners.
The Center for Sustainable Energy — From its location at Bronx Community College, the center promotes the use of renewable energy in urban communities through education, training, workforce development, research, and project facilitation.
SUNY Ulster — SUNY Ulster Continuing and Professional Education is pleased to announce a series of Sustainable Courses beginning in the spring 2008 semester. These programs are designed for those wishing to start a career in this growing field, professionals looking to expand their skills and credentials, and homeowners, or anyone, interested in learning about current technology and practice in the area of sustainable living.
Ulster BOCES — Part of a dynamic center for adult education in the heart of the Hudson Valley, the institute prepares new and experienced PV installers to sit for the NABCEP Entry Level Certificate of Knowledge exam — a key step toward becoming a NABCEP Certified PV Solar Installer.
